Homeowners in Mandeville Canyon desired a home and landscape incorporating “blurred boundaries” that would allow viewing garden courtyards from each room of the house. Themed vignette gardens were designed: Sound Garden at the front yard adjacent to the street, Taste Garden outside the kitchen, Sight Garden at the Central Courtyard, Touch Garden at the swimming pool with views from the master bedroom, and the Scent Garden featuring a fire pit next to the Guest House.
