Santa Fe Springs Industrial Complex
Over a span of ten years, PB&Co has worked with a private commercial supply company to renovate and expand their corporate campus located south of Downtown Los Angeles. The initial program components for their large site consisted of refurbishing existing gardens, creating new indoor and outdoor gathering and social spaces, and converting the existing parking lots into smaller scaled ‘car courts’.
Santa Fe Springs, CA
Ten years later the design team returned for an office expansion that involved more ‘car courts’ and additional garden improvements. A primary goal throughout the design processes has been to improve the quality of indoor and outdoor spaces for company employees.
To meet the company’s sustainability goals, PB&Co has introduced a series of initiatives to reduce water use and mitigate surface runoff, integrate plantings to reduce reflective heat surfaces, and create more comfortable environments for staff and visitors.
