Veterans Gardens

The landscape design goal for the Veterans Gardens at Pacific Palisades Park is to create a safe, comfortable and versatile park space for families and senior citizens to enjoy. The park features bocce courts, picnicking areas, garden living rooms and open lawn play/gathering areas. Initiated by a non-profit community group called Your Palisades Park Improvement Corporation, PB&Co collaborated with City of LA Department of Recreation and Parks to meet their standards, details and specifications for this special space at Pacific Palisades Park.
Benches and picnic tables provide park goers with opportunities to eat, play board games, visit with friends or watch a bocce game. A walking path enables guests to explore the park gardens, while three bocce courts encourage visitors to play a game. Garden living rooms allow for quiet contemplation or intimate dining, and open lawn areas create space for activities and events.
